Chapter 4: Two Channels, One Axe

Dear readers,

It’s that time again and with the batteries recharged again, ‘Dr. R’ can once again function. He is back to his old tricks and his newest encryption has been complete. With this newest of chapters comes another piece to add to The Journal and for this entry, The Doc took inspiration from something he sees as a wrong.

As you must know, decipher this encryption, asking yourself what is the message of the encryption, what story is The Doc trying to tell you. Think wisely and you will find your answer. Here is your conundrum: ‘In times where the money supply has shriveled up, tough decisions must be made. Some evoke no reaction but this particular choice cuts right to the nerve. Companies act like rivers, this particular one has two, in order for it to continue its flow of services, it must axe one channel but that decision is one that divides opinions. Will the plan go ahead or will the plan buckle under the pressure of those determined to keep the flow alive.’

This is a game of sacrifice and protection. Something must be sacrificed for something else to be protected. The lives of many will be affected by the severity of this choice but the magnitude of it will differ amongst the masses. Think of this an exercise that involves a pair of scales; to complete the exercise, you must balance the scales so that they are level and before you are a number of weights, add the weights carefully and with enough care and patience, the weight of the scales will negate each other, leading to an equilibrium.

Those of you who are on a par with The Doc must be prepared to help others so leave a comment below if you think you have an answer to this conundrum.

That is it for now, keep the influence of The Journal of ‘Dr. R’ alive. Soon his real name and his grand scheme will be revealed.

Yours sincerely, (insert name).
